Hello Everyone!

My name is David and I am from the beautiful city of Victoria located on southern Vancouver Island, Canada. 
I haved lived in Kyoto for a total of 2 1/2 years and I never grow tired of learning its history and discovering new places.
I have a keen interest in music, movies, literature, history, language, and culture and I love talking to others. 
As a teacher I realize every student is different and that is why I enjoy helping students set goals for themselves and work towards reaching them.  As a long-time student of the Japanese language (as well as German, French, and Mandarin Chinese), I understand very well the challenges and problems encountered by learners of English. 

Whether you require business/technical English for work or study, or simply want to improve your basic conversation, let's work together to improve your English in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere.

初心者の方から専門分野で英語が必要な上級者の方まで、幅広いレベルを教えています。
会話を中心にコミュニケーションが出来るように毎回練習をして行きます。

特に大学生、大学院生の方、またアカデミックな分野で研究をされている方を多く教えています。
ご自身の研究内容を海外の人に説明が出来るよう、また学会でのプレゼンテーションの準備もお手伝いします。
アカデミックな内容で英語が必要な方は是非お問合せを下さい。
また、医療関係のお仕事に従事されている方や、ドクターの方も教えていますので、その分野で英語が必要な方も学んでいただけます。

日本語を理解をしますので、初心者の方でも安心してレッスンを受けていただけます。
まずは英語を話す機会を少しずつ増やしていき、
自分の言いたい事を出来るだけ、自然な言い回しを使い、表現できるようになりましょう。
